      At the Itaewon Global Village Center we can help make your life a lot easier by providing you with all the


   information and assistance you will need to tackle whatever problems you may face. At the center you can:

 

 


     Get connected with reliable services for things like cell-phones, internet, and cable.


     Deal with difficulties related to public utilities and bill payments.


     Learn about emergency services such as fire and police.


     Find out about public transportation in and around Seoul.


     Get assistance when you need to communicate in Korean about simple matters.


     Find foreigner-friendly medical, legal, and real estate services.

 

 

 

 

  Educational and Cultural Opportunities

 

 

      One of the most important goals of our center is to promote cultural understanding on Korean culture for foreigners living in the area. The center has a variety of language and cultural programs that help all foreign residents learn more about each other and improve communication amongst all foreign members of the community.

          Classes on aspects of Korean culture such as art and cooking.

          Tours to historical and cultural sites.

 

 


      International Cultural Exchange Programs:


           Classes on aspects of international culture such as art and cooking.

           Opportunities for cultural exchange between Korean and foreign residents.

 

 


        Programs for Children


            Various fun activities in English (art classes, etiquette class, etc.)

 

 

 

     Information Center

 

 

          Lending library with over 400 English titles.


          Current magazines and newspapers.


          Books on Korean history, culture, and language.


          Brochures and guidebooks.


          Computers with free internet access.

      Volunteer Programs for Foreign Residents 

 

 

    By volunteering and helping out with our cultural exchange programs, you can help promote understanding of your own culture and enrich the lives of others. At the same time, you will be able to benefit from learning more about Korea and becoming more involved in the community.
