We are regularly hosting professionals and government officials to provide the latest visa and tax regulations for foreigners in Korea. Our aim is to create a platform for foreigners to ask their questions about the immigration processes, tax and labour regulation. For doing so, we are organising different types of events from general talks to one to one counselling meetings. All our consulting services require registration prior to the event. Please see the details about our counselling services below and subscribe to our monthly newsletter to keep yourself up to date with all the Yeoksam Global Village Events and Programs.

Please note that these are complimentary services provided by Yeoksam Global Village Center.

Tax Counseling

All foreign employees who have regular income in Korea are required to settle year-end taxes regardless of nationality and period of sojourn. As figuring out new systems in a new country could be challenging, we are offering one to one tax counselling service in English for helping foreigners who have difficulties with their tax settlements. Collaborating with Yeoksam District Tax Office, we are able to provide information about tax rules, tax calculations, tax exemptions and so on.

If you are a foreign national who works and lives in Korea and need help with the tax system, please contact us via e-mail or phone for making your appointment to meet with our tax counsellors.

Visa Counselling

All foreigners are obliged to follow specific visa rules which are agreed by the Republic of Korea and their own country. Visa rules differ depending not only on nationality but also on the purpose of the entry (work, travel, study, etc). We provide information in English on visa rules, different visa types, visa point calculations, Alien Registration Card (ARC) so on.

If you are a foreign national who has any questions or concerns about the visa process in Korea, please contact us via e-mail or phone for making your appointment to meet with our visa counsellors.

Labour Counseling

Korean government had distributed and posted on its website the Workplace Harassment Prevention and Response Manual (Feb. 22, 2019) and a related booklet (May 14, 2019) so that people can refer to them in the workplace.

Ministry Of Employment and Labours plans to carry out activities aimed at eliminating workplace harassment and spreading a culture of mutual respect at work, such as holding information sessions for businesses and identifying best practices together with employers' organizations.

We provide information, in English, on labour rules, examples of labour laws and employment of foreign nationals. We are also ready to answer a range of labour and employment questions.

If you have any labour or employment problems in Korea, please contact us via email or phone for making your appointment to meet with our labour counsellors.
