01-18 Jewelry Making Class (Start Date: 2019-01-18 ~ 2019-01-18)
Place: Itaewon Global Village Center
On Friday, January 18th, 10:00am-12:00pm, the Itaewon Global Village Center will hold a Jewelry Making Class to be led by a Filipino jewelry designer, Razel Kim.
 
In this class, Razel Kim will teach the fundamental skills on how to create boho-inspired design necklace and earrings. She will show us the step-by-step process on how to make our very own jewelry set.
 
Specific details will be emailed to you once you have registered and made your payment. The fee for this class is 15,000won (1 necklace + 1 pair of earrings ONLY). You can sign up in person or by email only (Pre-registration and pre-payment are required).

01-23 Neon Sign Making Class (Start Date: 2019-01-23 ~ 2019-01-23)
Place: Itaewon Global Village Center
On Wednesday, January 23rd, 10:00am-12:00pm, the Itaewon Global Village Center will hold a “Neon Sign DIY Making Class” Participants will get an opportunity to make a fascinating neon sign.
 
The neon signs are trendy artworks used as decorations. Participants will use 1.5m EL (electroluminescent) wire to make this Neon sign. Each participant can make their own SIMPLE design. Instructions and demonstrations will be done during the class. Of course, sample works will also be shown to inspire all participants.
 
Starting from sketching the design, bending the wire and stabilizing the form of the art work, the entire process will be handled by every single participant.
 
Throughout this class, participants will learn the process and have a better understanding of the structure.
 
The participation fee is 30,000 won (per a single neon sign kit/Cash Only). You can sign up in person or by email only. *** Open to foreigners only. ***

01-25 Ayurveda Workshop Series 1 (Start Date: 2019-01-25 ~ 2019-01-25)
Place: Itaewon Global Village Center
On Friday, January 25th, 10:00am-12:00pm, the Itaewon Global Village Center will hold an Ayurveda Aromatherapy Workshop Series: Natural Spray Making Class. Teacher will show you how to make homemade natural sprays using fresh lemon and essential oils, etc. Each student will make and bring home their own kitchen counter cleaner. In addition to that, the teacher will be demonstrating how to make other similar home made products (NOTE: participants will only make the kitchen counter cleaner).
 
Ayurveda is an ancient health science that offers a body of wisdom designed to help people stay vibrant and healthy while realizing their full human potential. We welcome you on reservation for workshop with an open mind and ready to learn more about yourself.
 
The workshop will be taught by Heather Elif Pilon, a certified Yoga teacher who studied her yoga teacher trainings in Neyyar Dam, India at the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Center (2008) and again at Magic Pond Yoga in Seoul, Korea (2010-2012).
 
Pre-registration by email and pre-payment are required. The fee would be 5,000 won. The venue of this event will be at Itaewon Global Village Center (Only foreigners can join this program).

01-25 Clay Art Class for Kids (Start Date: 2019-01-25 ~ 2019-01-25)
Place: Itaewon Global Village Center
On Friday, January 25th, 4:20pm-5:50pm, the Itaewon Global Village Center will hold a “Clay Art Class for Kids.”
 
Through clay art, children can familiarize themselves with different textures and colors. By doing clay art, children get the chance to mold and feel the materials while creating their very own art. As a process, each individual will have to roll, squeeze and twirl the clay as they recreate their imagined design.
 
Let your children have fun while creating colorful crafts made with air dry clay. The instructor will show easy modeling to kids through clay art projects step-by-step with DIY Fun Jelly fish/Octopus and underwater scene.
 
All of the materials will be prepared for class.
 
Children over the age of 6 are recommended to join. Don’t miss the chance to have fun! The participation fee would be 20,000 won (per child / Cash only). You can sign up in person or by email only.

01-25 Tom Yum Kung Cooking Class (Start Date: 2019-01-25 ~ 2019-01-25)
Place: near Sookmyung Women's University Station
On Friday, January 25th, 2:00pm-4:00pm, the Itaewon Global Village Center, together with ‘Talk to Me’ (Korean Immigrant Women’s Association), will hold a “Tom Yum Kung Cooking Class.” Do not miss the chance to learn the Thai food culture through cooking.
            
What is Tom Yum Kung?
Tom Yum Kung is the flavour that defines Thailand! The words “tom yum” are derived from two Thai words: “tom” and “yam”. “Tom” refers to boiling process, while “yam” refers to a kind of Lao and Thai spicy and sour salad. Thus, “tom yum” is a Lao and Thai hot and sour soup and is indeed the most famous Thai soup.
 
Pre-registration by email and pre-payment are required. The fee would be 15,000 won. The venue of this event will be near Sookmyung Women’s Univ Station (line 4). Specific details will be emailed to you once you have made your payment. (Only foreigners can join this program).
