|Subject||[ITAEWON GVC] Taekwondo One-day Class for Kids|
On Friday, October 30th, 16:30pm-17:30pm, the Itaewon Global Village Center will hold a ”[Online] Taekwondo One-day Class for Kids.” Participants will use online platform, Zoom for the class.
Taekwondo is a martial art of self-defence originated in Korea, in which the competitors use both their hands and feet. Taewondo is one of an official event of the Olympic Games too. Taekwondo stresses the importance of spiritual discipline and for this reason it enjoys popularity among both men and women. As for its educational effects associated with spiritual discipline and tenacity, Taekwondo is emerging as an option for the treatment of young people suffering from addictions.
For this class, a Taekwondo master from Taewkwondo Promotion Foundation(태권도진흥재단) will be teaching children. The level of the class is for very beginners, and children age above 8 can join. Parents can also join together. No other materials are needed for this class. What participants need to prepare is a willingness to learn in class and passion. The class will be done in English.
