On Tuesday, April 24th, 10:00am-12:00pm, Itaewon Global Village Center together with Seoul Yongsan Police will hold a “Self-defense Class for Foreigners.”
Through this class, Seoul Yongsan Police will discuss basic laws regarding self-defense and violence prevention. All participants will be taught basic self-defense techniques to avoid possible dangers like physical attacks from strangers or sexual offenders.
Self-defense laws in Korea could be tricky as it is very different from self-defense laws in other countries. Through this seminar, we hope to impart the importance of awareness and safety to all foreign residents, especially females. This class will be taught by a police officer from Yongsan Police.
The venue of the class will be in the Yongsan Police Headquarters (near Namyeong Station). This class is free of charge. You can sign up in person or by email only.
