|제목||Cooking Class for Parents and Kids|
|On Friday, July 26th, from 10:30AM to 12:30PM, Itaewon Global Village Center will host a “Cooking Class for Parents and Kids” (however, other adults with no kids may also join this class). Since it is summer, we will be learning how to make a Korean picnic set by cooking Korean street food toast and Kimbap!
Korean Street Toast has gaining much popularity recently due to the traction cause by Korean entertainment. In Korea, this is known as “gilgeori toast” and “gilgeori” literally means street. Unlike other sandwiches, Korea made it’s own twist by using some kind of sweet sauce plus other ingredients like *ham, grated cabbage, scrambled egg with vegetables and cheese. (Ham is optional. If you are vegetarian, you can always opt not to put it.)
Another dish we are going to make is “kimbap” - a staple in any Korean picnic basket! Unlike ordinary Kimbap which usually uses ham, fermented radish, carrots, egg and so on, this time we are going to make a “salad” kimbap.
We encourage parents and kids to join this class since this is a fun way to bond with your children while learning about Korean culture.
The participation fee would be 15,000won (per team: 1 child + 1 parent ONLY). Additional 15,000won should be paid per additional child (Ex. 2 children, 1 parent = 30,000won). For adults who will be joining alone, the fee is also 15,000won/1 adult.
Pre-registration & pre-payment are required for this class. Complete details will be emailed to you after registration. To register by email, send us your name, your child’s name and age, nationality, email address and phone number. (*Children should be 6 years old and above.)
Note: This class is intended for children to learn how to cook. Parents will be assisting their children. Due to space constraints, two parents + 1 child is NOT ALLOWED.
