|On Friday, December 6th, from 2:00pm to 3:30pm, Itaewon Global Village Center will hold a “Korean Traditional Rice Wine Making Class: Dongdongju.”
One of the well known Korean traditional wine is made of rice. Since rice is a staple in Korea, it is only very apt for them to make wine out of it. And through this class, we will be learning the tedious process of making a “Dongdongju,” which is similar to “Makgeolli.” As part of the experience, participants will get to boil the rice, put it in a jar and so on. A bottle (350ml) of traditional wine will be given to all participants after the class.
This class will be held near Gyeongbokgung Station (Line 3). The participation fee is 20,000won. Specific details will be sent to you after the registration. (Pre-registration and pre-payment are required for this class.) To register, please email us your name, nationality and phone number.
