|On October 16th (Friday) from 15:00 to 17:00, Itaewon Global Village Center will host an “Online Cooking Class: Multi-purpose seasoned Soy Sauce & Dakgalbi (spicy stir-fried chicken)” which is provided by Food and Culture Korea.
This time, we will be learning how to make multi-purpose seasoned soy sauce which is deep layered complex on taste, but is surprisingly easy to make. Once you make this sauce, you can use this sauce in a variety of dishes to make more flavors.
Also, we will make Dakgalbi (닭갈비), which is a popular Korean dish made by stir-frying marinated diced chicken in a gochujang-based sauce with sweet potatoes, cabbage, perilla leaves, scallions, tteok (rice cake), and other ingredients.
Since this class will be held online, participants will have to prepare the ingredients in advance. We will email you which ingredients to buy and on the day of the class we will follow the instructions of the teacher via online class (using zoom).
This class is free of charge but registration is a must. All details will be emailed to you after registration. To register, please email us your name, nationality, phone number and email address. *Pre-registration is required for this program. *Only foreigners in Korea can join this program.
