|On Friday, December 11th, 10:00am-11:30am, the Itaewon Global Village Center will hold a ”COVID-19 and Mental Health Webinar: How’s your emotional wellbeing?”.” Participants will use online platform, Zoom for the class.
Dealing with the pandemic in a foreign country can be challenging. On top of leaving your previous lifestyle and circle of loved ones behind, you are now facing this novel COVID-19 crisis without an extensive support system.
There is no doubt that adjusting to a new culture can be difficult and sometimes cause a huge amount of stress under the best of circumstances. You are currently doing that and dealing with an uncertain future which poses a threat to your emotional well-being. That is even harder and should be specifically acknowledged.
In this seminar, we will identify effective and helpful self-care methods for your emotional well-being and learn how to apply them to your lives from the perspective of positive psychology in order to empower you to look after your mental health.
