|제목||[ITAEWON GVC] ONLINE Cooking Class: Bulgogi & Bibimbap|
On Friday, August 20th (from 10:30am to 12:30pm), Itaewon Global Village Center will host an “Online Cooking Class: Bibimbap & Bulgogi”. This class will be conducted by Food and Culture Korea.
You will be learning 2 Korean representative foods: Bibimbap and Bulgogi. Bibimbap is composed of two Korean words: “bibim” meaning to mix, and “bap” means rice. Bibimbap is served as a bowl of warm white rice topped with “namul” (vegetable side dishes) or kimchi and gochujang, soy sauce or, doenjang (soybean paste).
Together with bibimbap, you can also learn how to make bulgogi. Bulgogi is generally stir-fried in a moist pan after being marinated in soy sauce even though the name Bulgogi means meat grilled on fire. Bulgogi will go well with the bibimbap as a main dish.
Undoubtedly, bulgogi and bibimbap represent Korean traditional foods and have been around for thousands of years. Through this class, you will learn the step-by-step process of how to make both bibimbap and bulgogi.
