On Friday, February 10th, 1:00pm-3:00pm, the Itaewon Global Village Center will hold a “Pop Art Portrait Making Class” The class will give participants an opportunity to make a pop art portrait. This class is for beginners, so do not hesitate to enroll the class even if you are not artistic. When you are enrolled, you will be asked to send a picture of a person that you want to draw at least a week before the class for the underdrawings. You can only draw one person/frame.
Pop art and minimalism are considered to be art movements that precede postmodern art, or are some of the earliest examples of Post-modern Art themselves. Pop art often takes as its imagery that which is currently in use in advertising.
Pop art portrait can be a special gift for your friend, family or yourself. Don’t miss the chance to make a pop art portrait by yourself. The participation fee would be 30,000 won (per person). (The portrait covers one person in a scale) You can sign up in person or by email only. (Only Foreigners can join this program.)
