|Subject||Korean Seal Making Class|
On Friday, February 17th, 10:00am - 12:00pm, the Itaewon Global Village Center will hold a “Korean Seal Making Class.” This class will provide an opportunity to make your own Korean seal by designing and engraving.
Seal-carving itself was considered a form of art, many artists carved their own seals. As a cultural style which has been inherited from the past, it preserves both practical and artistic values.
In modern Korea, the use of seals is still common. While signing is also accepted, most Koreans have personal seals and many Koreans think it is more formal to use seals in public documents. Especially, the hand-crafted seal is loved as a personal stamp or a present.
Don’t miss a chance to make your own Korean seal which is only one in the world!
The fee would be 20,000 won (per person). (Including one seal, an imprinted bookmark, a seal pouch) You can sign up in person or by email only. (Only Foreigners can join this program.)
