On Friday, March 3rd, 10:00am-12:00pm, the Itaewon Global Village Center will hold a Korean Cooking Class “Stir-fry Chukumi and Kongnamul Rice.”
The first menu is Stir-fry Chukumi(small octopus) with non-spicy sauce. March is a perfect season for delicious Chukumi in Korea! In classical way of Stir-fry Chukumi, it uses hot pepper powder and red chili to make it spicy. But this time, we will try to make this recipe non-spicy by using soy sauce instead of using red chili and hot pepper powder.
The second menu is Kongnamul(Bean sprouts) Rice with special sauce. Kongnamul is well known for its asparagines which is good for hangover and relieving stress. Cooking rice with bean sprouts is one of the most delicious ways to have this healthy kongnamul. Mixing sauce can be used not only for Kongnamul Rice but also other kinds of Korean dishes.
The venue of the class is Cheongjeongwon Cooking Studio near Ewha Woman’s University. The participation fee is 12,000 won. You can sign up in person or by email only.
