On Friday, March 17th, 10:40am-12:10pm, the Itaewon Global Village Center will hold a Korean Tea Ceremony Experience.
The Korean Tea Ceremony is called ‘Darye’ which refers to ‘etiquette for tea’ or ‘day tea rites’. The key element of tea ceremony is easy way and natural mood with simplified formal setting. Participants will learn various types of Korean traditional tea and a new way of relaxing by experiencing the tea ceremony.
The teacher, Ms. Kyung Hee Park, will show the participants the traditional Korean way of drinking tea and she will also explain about various teas in Korea. Participants will get a chance to taste Korean tea as well.
The venue of the class is Teahouse Shin Yet near Anguk station (Line 3). The participation fee is 7,000 won. You can sign up in person or by email only.
