|Subject||Korean Rice Clay Class for Kids|
On Friday, May 12th, 4:20pm-5:50pm, the Itaewon Global Village Center will hold a “Korean Rice Clay Making Class for Kids.” The class will give participants an opportunity to make some edible rice clay.
Rice Clay is a type of food-art. By using colorful rice clay, free artistic drawing and decorating work is possible. This class is especially effective for kids to develop their creativity and imagination by expressing themselves freely through clay art. Also, the ingredients are all edible, so kids tend to have more interest in the class.
Colorful rice dough that we are going to use in class does not include any artificial pigment or preservatives. The instructors are rice cake artist from Korean Rice Clay Instructor Association.
The theme of this class is rice decorative clay sticks called “Teokpero.”
The participants are going to make total five decorative rice clay sticks which are 4 inches each per person. Do not miss a unique opportunity to experience Rice Clay!
The participation fee would be 15,000 won (per five rice clay sticks). You can sign up in person or by email only. To sign up by email, please email us your name, nationality and phone number.
*** Only foreigners can join this class.
