|Subject||Japanese Calligraphy Class|
On Friday, June 23rd, 1:00pm~3:00pm, Itaewon Global Village Center will hold a Japanese Calligraphy class.
The Japanese calligraphy (or Shodo) is one of the most popular fine arts of Japan. Calligraphical works are appreciated as works of art just like paintings. Simply put, it is an art to write beautifully using bamboo brush and Japanese paper.
Join us for a lesson in the art of SHODO (Japanese Calligraphy). We will use the brushes and other materials from Japan in order to make your experience as authentic as possible. We will learn the proper way to use a calligraphy brush. Each participant will go home with a treasured keepsake displaying the word LOVE and a better understanding of Japanese culture.
*This course is only for non-Japanese*
The participation for this class is 20,000won. You can sign up in person or by e-mail only. To sign-up by e-mail, please e-mail us your name, nationality and phone number.
