On Friday, October 27th, 1:30pm-3:30pm, the Itaewon Global Village Center will hold a “Mandala Art Plates Making class”. The class will give participants an opportunity to learn to paint Mandala patterns and create unique plate(15x15cm).
What is Mandala?
A mandala is a complex abstract design that is usually circular in form. In fact, "mandala" is a Sanskrit word that means "circle". Mandalas generally have one identifiable center point, from which emanates an array of symbols, shapes and forms. Mandalas can contain both geometric and organic forms. They can also contain recognizable images that carry meaning for the person who is creating it.
Create your own mandala plate
In this drawing lesson, you will learn how to draw a mandala and decorate plate in point-to-point technique (dot art). Although it looks complicated, it's actually quite easy, once you know the steps. Enjoy the harmony of East as all the colors and forms look harmonious and beautiful!
The fee would be 30,000 won (All materials are included). You can sign up in person or by email only. (Only Foreigners can join this program). The venue of this event will be at Itaewon Global Village Center. Specific details will be emailed to you once you have made your payment.
