|Subject||Korean Seal Making Class|
On Friday, October 13th, 10:00am-12:00pm, will be taking a trip to the National Museum of Korea for an amusing craft class, “Seal Making Class.” Participants will have a chance to make a Korean Seal.
Seal-carving itself was considered as an art form and many artists carved their own seals. As a cultural style which has been inherited from the past, it preserves both practical and artistic values.
In modern Korea, the use of seals is still common. While signature has also been accepted, most Koreans have personal seals and many Koreans think it is more formal to use seals in public documents. Especially, the hand-crafted seal is loved as a personal stamp or a present.
Don’t miss a chance to make your own Korean seal which is only one in the world!
The participation fee is 5,000 won(per person/Cash Only). You can sign up in person or by email only
