|Job Description||* We are seeking an Executive Director for a 5-year full-time regular position at the Research Investment in Global Health Techonology (RIGHT, final name pending)' in Seoul, Korea .
I Job Purpose
• Lead the establishment, launch and operation of RIGHT, a new Korean public-private partnership between government, biopharmaceutical companies and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, with a mission to fund projects that will develop life-saving interventions which benefit global public health. Build the clear vision, mission, scope, strategy and capability in partnership with the funding partners, to fulfill this mission in alignment with Sustainable Development Goals.
• Lead and oversee the organization’s execution of its strategic goals with the guidance from the (Board and the Council). Build a highly qualified and capable team to manage operations. Expand funding partners. Communicate the vision and accomplishments of RIGHT with all current and potential stakeholders. Be a strong advocate of Korea’s contribution towards public health and RIGHT’s role in same.

|Job Requirement||I The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:
•Master’s degree or higher; MD or PhD an advantage
•15+ years post-baccalaureate in relevant field, executive experience desirable
•Commitment to the mission of promoting global public health and health equity
•Background in infectious diseases and/or life sciences industry
•First-class leadership and organizational skills
•Outstanding relationship-building and communication skills
•Analytical and able to solve problems/overcome blockages
•Relevant experience including public health, vaccine/pharmaceutical/diagnostic products and R&D, fund management, especially in Korea.
•Proficiency in English essential and proficiency in Korean preferred
