|On Friday, February 9th, 2:00pm-4:00pm, the Itaewon Global Village Center will hold a “Hanji Plate making Class” Participants will make a beautiful Hanji Plate using colorful Korean Traditional paper, Hanji.
Hanji is a paper made from all natural ingredients and it has been used in Korea for centuries. In the past, it was used in daily life, making books, windows and doors. The paper is so durable that layered Hanji was even used as an armor that could stop arrows. These days Hanji is used for mostly decorative purposes such as making dolls, wrapping paper, decorative boxes, and other handicrafts.
The size of the plate that we are going to make is as follows: width:320mm*320mm. You will have some color choices for the plate. Do not miss the chance to make traditional hanji plate.
The participation fee is 20,000 won(per person/Cash Only). You can sign up in person or by email only
