|Subject||Draw Like an Artist Series 2: Clover Robine|
|On February 23rd, 10:00am-12:00pm, the Itaewon Global Village Center will hold a class ‘Draw like an artist series 2: Clover Robine (Collage Art)’. The class will give you an opportunity to explore the art of collage through British illustrator Clover Robine who delights in nature and all things botanical. In the class, you will create your own botanical collage using Clove Robine’s collage technique.
Clover Robine is a surface pattern designer and illustrator. Clover is one of the most popular instagram illustrators who has half million Instagram flowers. She is currently based in Greenwich, London where all of her artwork is handcrafted and printed. Clients include: Paul Smith, Mollie Makes, Ape Creative, National Trust and Little Tiger Books etc.
Collages can be created from a range of materials, though most are made of paper or wood and often feature cut-and-pasted photographs, painted forms, or even 3-dimensional objects. As more and more modern artists began exploring the practice throughout the 20th century, these mediums became more varied and increasingly experimental.
This class will be taught by Sihyun Chon, staff at Itaewon Global Village Center. Sihyun is a national board certified art teacher with several years experience of graphic designing and art consulting. She had BA Visual Communication Design in Korea and MA Cultural & Creative Industries in the UK.
You can sign up in person or by email only. The fee would be 25,000 won (All materials are included). The venue of this event will be at Itaewon Global Village Center.
