|On May 25th (Friday) at 1:00pm-3:00pm, the Itaewon Global Village Center will hold a “Namsan Hanok Village Hanbok Fitting & Tea Ceremony Experience.” Through this activity, participants will have a chance to experience traditional Korean tea ceremony wearing Hanbok. It will take place at Namsangol Hanok Village which is near Chungmuro Station (Line 3,4).
Korean Traditional Tea Ceremony is called “다례(Darye)” in Korean. Darye literally refers to "etiquette for tea" or "day tea rite" and has been kept among Korean people for an over a thousand years.
Participants will wear Korean traditional clothing, Hanbok. There are also Hanboks available for children and teenagers. After the photo time indoors, participants will have time to experience Darye wearing Hanbok. After the tea ceremony, participants will have to change into their usual clothes and the they will have the chance to go around Namsangol Hanok Village.
