On Thursday. December 20th, 10:30am-12:00pm, the Itaewon Global Village Center will hold a “Vegan Cooking Class: Japchae.” Japchae is well-known Korean festive food. It is a noodle dish mixed with various types of vegetables and it is seasoned with soy sauce, sugar and sesame oil.
The basic concept of Vegan food is well known as “Temple food” in Korea. Buddhist monk seeks to the way of living nature by eating foods in its natural state. For this reason, their cooking style is focused on how they can extract natural flavors from each ingredients without using much aromatics and seasonings.
The instructor for this session is Buddhist monk. The venue of the class is near Anguk station (line 3). Class details will be emailed to each participants later. The participation fee is 10,000 won.
